Ashley is a current art student at Baldwin Wallace University where she is focusing on mixed media and sculpture. She has a refined eye for 3D objects and 3D mediums. She incorporates those interests and skills into her shadowboxing/framing ability. Ashley’s design work focuses on contrast within color and a strong dynamic between frame and image. Collaborations among clients and other designers are commonplace with Ashley, as she strives for a bold finish piece in custom framing.
Ashley – “Art has always been in my blood. My grandmother and mother infused it into my DNA as a child. We often crocheted, sewed, and made other family projects together. When I hung out with my dad in the garage, he’d let me use the power tools and that’s where my desire for sculpture came into play. I guess I’ve always enjoyed that aspect of art; the tangible characteristic of textures and new mediums.”
